Green Buckwheat (raw grain)

Amber Bee buckwheat is produced in Kursk Oblast, agricultural and ecologically clean area of Russia. Buckwheat is Amber Bee’s primary product. Buckwheat’s wonderful qualities gained our love and attention that repeatedly comes back to us through healthy and delicious meals. Green buckwheat, unlike the brown (roasted) buckwheat, is not thermally treated. Such raw grain contains up to 30% more useful micro and macro elements and vitamins than steamed (roasted) buckwheat. Gentle mechanical processing does not damage the grain’s core, therefore the entire spectrum of vitamins and minerals (in the raw state) is completely preserved. Green buckwheat has a soft nutty taste and can be consumed cooked or steamed.

How to prepare
Put rinsed buckwheat in a pot with boiled water in 1:2 ratio (1 cup of buckwheat, 2 cups of water).
Cook until it boils and then reduce the heat.
Cover with a lid and cook for 15-20 minutes, until the buckwheat absorbs all the water.
